Halloween was fun this year we had a variety of costumes to choose from and the kids did. toothless, stitch, darth vader, puppy, scobby doo, vampire, witch it was always a surprise on what costume they came out with. We went to the ward party trunk or treat and Bonnie's October party. the kids looked so cute in all the different costumes and got a lot of candy.

KAMBREE TURNED 2 ITS CRAZY HOW BIG SHE IS ALREADY SHE IS SUCH A SWEET LITTLE GIRL ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP AND GIVE BIG KISSES. SHE GIVES A COUPLE (OK A LOT) OF DIRTY LOOKS BUT SHE DEFIANTLY GETS HER POINT ACROSS. SHE RECENTLY GOT A NEW BED AND IS DOING AWESOME SHE STAYS IN HER BED ALL NIGHT AND EVEN GOES AND GETS IN WHEN SHE IS ASKED TO. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES DORA AND ANYTHING TO DO WITH BABIES AND WILL DO ALMOST ANYTHING TO GET TO WATCH DORA OR PLAY WITH HER BABIES. SHE IS JUST A GREAT LITTLE GIRL AND WE LOVE HER SO MUCH. SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO SEE HER GROW BECAUSE SHE IS OUR LAST BUT SHE DOES IT ANYWAYS. OH WELL WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT HER---WHO KNOWS LOVE HER TO PIECES.

Jons brother Jeremy has bravely accepted to go back. Saying goodbye this time was a bit harder then the first time he went. The whole extended family gathered at the airport and shared many hugs and tears as Jeremy boarded the plane. Jeremy is now safe and hopefully will remain this way Jon talks to his brother every once in awhile via skype and really really misses his WOW playing partner and good big brother. We look forward to the day that he returns safe and sound back to his family and until then he is in our prayers continually.

A few weeks ago we decided to go down to Idaho Falls and hang out with Grandma Bailey (my mom) she happened to be cleaning out her barn and need a couple helpers so we all got our good old cleaning clothes and rain boots on and went and cleaned after words we had a camp fire and roasted hot dogs and had a good time. The kids really enjoyed being able to help and play together with some of there cousins.

The kids started school on Sept 2nd its crazy that they are getting so big.

Kyleigh started 3rd grade, she was pretty excited to get to school to see her friends she had missed during summer vacation and visit with some of the old teachers she had last year. She has Ms. Betty and a couple of friends in her class. She took her older sister stand and told Kayden where he would be for her to pick up so they could get there stuff and walk home - it was pretty cute.

Kayden started 1st grade, he was full of excitement for his first FULL DAY of school and even more excited for lunch at school. He has Ms. Winder and a lot of his previous classmates. I could barely keep him long enough to get his picture.

we went to Heise for the fourth and went camping all weekend. The kids had a faboulous time getting dirty and running like they had no mother. Just for those of you that dont know me I HATE HATE MESSY DIRTY situations. So it took everything in me to sit and let them go wild. It included lots of four wheeler rides, dirt, water, and lots of food.

The pictures pretty much some up the trip there was a lot of relaxing and much needed breaks. Chloe got to come ( the dog ) and that made things a bit interesting at time. But all in all everyone had a good time and wasn't ready to come back to reality.

Can't believe it another kid another year (they go and grow so fast) Kayden will turn 6 on the 19th but we had an early party with my family. He also invited his little friend Taevin who helped with the excitement and fun of the party. We had a great time but serious i can't believe he is another year older (doesn't always act like it lol)

we had a great weekend it was a lot of fun to get out and spend some time away from cleaning chores and everyday stress.

we went and visited the temple it was beautiful.

we found an awesome McD that the kids played and played for what seemed like the whole day but with Diet Coke and chocolate chip cookie we could of stayed forever.

We really had a lot of fun in the pool- which is where we were at most of the time. The kids enjoyed the water, splashing and showing me there tricks.

My boy did it he graduated from kindergarten not really surprising (especially because he LOVED LOVED his teacher) she was awesome. He did very well in his program however i couldn't for the life of me get him to look at me he was so focused on his teacher for the program. He did a GREAT JOB. Sure do love this little man.

Kaydens FINAL and BEST soccer game

Kayden had his final soccer game yesterday. He did awesome, he did have his own cheering section but he scored 7 GOALS. Even though the wind was bitter cold he didn't let him bother HIS SKILLS. I was so proud of him this was the first time the sesson he scored. The first time he scored he was a bit bashful but after that he would grin from ear to ear. He is such a stud.

As for the cheering section well it was entertaining in itself he! he! (REMEMBER IT WAS FREEZING)

"The Road of Life"

“At first, I saw God as my observer, my judge, keeping track of the things I did wrong, so as to know whether I merited Heaven or hell when I die. He was out there sort of like a president.

But later on when I met Christ, it seemed as though life were rather like a bike ride, but it was a tandem bike, and I noticed that Christ was in the back helping me pedal.

I don’t know just when it was that He suggested we change places, but life has not been the same since. When I had control, I knew the way. It was rather boring, but predictable….It was the shortest distance between two points.

But when He took the lead, He knew delightful long cuts, up mountains, and through rocky places at breakneck speeds, it was all I could do to hang on! Even though it looked like madness, He said, “Pedal!”

I worried and was anxious and asked, “Where are you taking me?” He laughed and didn’t answer, and I started to learn to trust.

I forgot my boring life and entered into the adventure. And when I’d say, “I’m scared,” He’d lean back and touch my hand.

He took me to people with gifts that I needed, gifts of healing, acceptance and joy. They gave me gifts to take on my journey, my Lord’s and mine.

And we were off again. He said, “Give the gifts away; they’re extra baggage, too much weight.” So I did, to the people we met, and I found that in giving I received, and still our burden was light.

I did not trust Him, at first, in control of my life. I thought He’d wreck it; but He knows bike secrets, knows how to make it bend to take sharp corners, knows how to jump to clear high rocks, knows how to fly to shorten scary passages.

And I am learning to shut up and pedal in the strangest places, and I’m beginning to enjoy the view and the cool breeze on my face with my delightful constant companion, Jesus Christ.

And when I’m sure I just can’t do any more, He just smiles and says, “Pedal.”

Between school kids church and life our family has been very busy. So here are a few pictures to capture some of the bigger things that have been going on.

This kids are playing soccer now they are almost done but it was fun watching them for the few months that it lasted.

During the past couple of weeks many things have come and gone and i find myself pondering everyday wondering what the true message i learned helped teached or relized for that particular day. Through a dear friend i have managed to understand some of the lessons that i learned. (yes i know i am confusing to follow)
lesson one
life is short EMBRACE every minute you have
lesson two
children grow so fast EMBRACE every minute you have with them the good the bad and the not so fun ones

lesson three
when you think your life is hard or you feel like giving up EMBRACE the good that you have in your life instead of feeling the bad and focus on the positive (heaven knows it could be worse)

This post may not make sense to you but i have to occasionaly write my feelings out. So many times i go week to week and dont truely slow down to reflect on all the good things that are going on in one day. My children are my world and so many days after i have put them to bed, i think to myself what or have i taught them that day. (usually it is not the answer i would like it to be) I want my kids to know of the love that i posses for them i want them to carry there spirits high and have others recognize how phenominal each one of my children are.

My friend posted about the different things she chooses to EMBRACE in her life and asked those that read her blog to do the following. (so you all don't think i am nuts) try doing it to you may learn something about yourself.

Christmas At our House

So Christmas has come and gone, and this year was a little different then years past, in the simple fact that we really tried to incorporate the true meaning and traditions into our little children this year. We decorated cookies, delivered them to friends and loved ones by singing to them and we made lots of trips to look at lights. We also talked a lot about the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of the day, we had a lot of family time this year and it felt really good to connect on a plane that sometimes we "think" we are to busy to come down to. Christmas was good at our house this year for more then the presents and new things it brought.

So this year i decided to be in the spirit of Christmas and bake cookies for our friends and neighbors. Well 4 dozen cookies later and a lot of mess the cookies were all together. I know the kids had a lot of fun and the mess was huge but i think we may have a new Christmas tradition.

Holy Cow so school is finally over and this has proabaly been the most stressful sememster i have ever had. We made it throw and now will have a few weeks off before we go back again in January.

Lately i have thought a lot bout what the true meaning of living is. To some of you this may seem weird but i really have struggled with a few things lately. Like why do children get sent to earth to be abused or taken for granted or why do people get taken away when it seems like they were living there life right. So many questions come and go throughout my day but threw others testimonies and others experiences some of these things are starting to make sense.
Its crazy how others can influence us whether right or wrong. Crazy how others can interpret things that I myself don't understand. Life is full of challenges and we have to be able to rely on others and our own self during these times. Maybe that is why the Lord has put certain people in our lives at certain times. I believe strongly that people come into your life at certain times for certain reasons. Maybe to help you or maybe to help them but I strongly believe that we are all here to help each other get stronger and get through those tough situations.
Living is this life has gotten to be so hard with the world around us. How many times I drop my children off at school and wonder what someone else is going to teach them (possibly something good and possibly something not as good) I worry that they will be influenced by those bad things and pray that I have taught them enough or good enough that they will choose the right decision but shutter to think that i may have left something out. This is when I feel as though i know how Heavely Father feels, he showed us the example and told us how to return to him, but how many times do we choose that wrong path and go a different way.
I am so grateful that i know that I can be forgiven and pray everyday that i can reach out to that person that HE has brought to me to help out. On the other hand i pray for that person that is suppose to ease my burden that they will also choose that right way, weather it be for my childrens sake or myself.
then at the end of the day i think to myself I THINK TO MUCH!

This month has been crazy with Kambree's birthday, Halloween and normal day to day stuff we have had a lot on our plates. Here are a couple pic that are just randoms of our month in a climps

we were recovering from this aweful flu that has been going around so on Halloween night we stayed home carved pumpkins ate pizza and handed out candy it was very relaxing

So one my dear friends posted this and since she is so good with words i decided to copy it over. I feel exactly like this a lot, i can't help but wonder if HE is really trying to get us to "REFOCUS" otherwise we (meaning me) might go on and on and never totally "FOCUS" life goes by so fast and we miss so much when we live in the normal everyday world instead of putting things into perspective like they should be. thanks again friend you are phenomenal in your writings.

sometimes....

i feel i catch myself thinking~ rather than living.
by nobodies fault, but my own.
i think about many things.... but i don't think it is until night time that i actually HEAR myself think.
sometimes i wish i could just switch the flip. Switch it to OFF, mute, pause OR some how
....just put my mind to rest!
this is why I don't read books very often. this is why my husband sometimes, umkay... a lot of times... gets ignored after the kiddos have gone to bed. this is why i don't remember movies. this is why i often times fall asleep earlier than i was planning. this is why i may wake to a sleeping husband on the couch and a dog laying beside a pool of urine (in the sun room). this is why we don't tend to leave the house very early in the mornings. this is why i don't always find the time to get the laundry put away, this is why the kids didn't get a chance to go to the park, color that picture, or do what shoulda, woulda, coulda been so much fun!
this is why some days seem as if they fell short of something.... something that i just mulled right over, without even thinking twice~
ironic BECAUSE at the same time i was thinking too much about something else.
CONFUSED????
this isn't ALWAYS THE CASE, but my point is that MANY cherished hours have been spent.... THINKING.
I think about the kids. I worry about the kids.
I wonder about this... wonder about that.
ONE WORD BEST SUMS THIS UP.
LIFE.
ok, another one... especially in my case.
MOTHERHOOD.
oddly enough, i believe that it is through all this THINKING....
that i have become capable of keeping what is most important in my life
IN FOCUS.
thus i have made adjustments, learned the importance of change, and recognized new personal capabilities.
YOU SEE?
maybe i have just recognized the purpose.
ALL of this for some personal growth i suppose.
That must be it!

Tonight we went to our ward party the kids had a great time playing games eating candy and running threw the church like little monsters. We really had a great time.

Kyleigh loved being on the wicked side tonight she is such a little tease. This costume fit her will. She loved her costume however she is even more excited to wear the wig we also got but didn't want to ruin before the BIG night. She is such a kind spirited little girl we love her

Kayden had a great time tonight he won all those wonderful prizes all by himself and he was so so proud (we won't tell him that Kasyn all contributed) he also choose to get two white ghost painted on his face he was full of it tonight (quess all those big muscles got to my big brown eyed sweetheart)

Kambree had a lot of fun as well, since she had a billion suckers, cupcakes, and candy she was as happy as i think i have ever seen her, her little dimples make this little sugar puff hard to resist (at least for me)

Isn't Kasyn the cuttest little eorye you have ever seen, i love this little guy.

so we had family pictures and i haven't gotten them back yet but here are a few of the "sneak peeks" that she let me see. They turned out really good. I am really excited to get them back!

Kyleigh is growing up so fast she is now in 2nd grade and is a very good student, just yesterday she missed one on her spelling test and she was so mad becasue she got a 97 instead of her normal 100. She adds a lot of drama and love to our family.

Kayden is now in kindergarden and is doing very well, learning everyday. He recently started showing his "daddy side" meaning his funny comedy side. He also has a new girly friend and loves to show off for her.

Kasyn is now 2 and he shows his attitude lately. He started talking a lot lately and it so fun to figure out what he means, however if you quess wrong he will also let you know how he feels about that. He loves 3 things his mommy, his daddy and chocalate milk.

Kambree is now one I can't believe it she got old so soon. She is one of those children that you always know where she is at. She is a very loving sweet girl that loves everyone and waves to most strangers.

Today was one of those days, the ones that you sit back and think about the true meaning of life. It is crazy how we all go from day to day and forget about the little things that are truly the most important. You know the thinks like having the opportunity to learn and change and teach those around us. I know I forget to sit down and think about all the blessings I receive every day of my life. I get so caught up in the small things like hoping my house gets clean and making sure I get good grades that i forget about the small things like letting my kids know how i feel about them. Life goes by so fast that we have to force ourselves to breath and remember all those things that can get lost.

Well our sweet dear puppy died this past weekend, making the weekend not as enjoyable as we would of liked. The tragedy began when we took her to get her shots and microchip taken care of, the little bit of bleeding this produced internal ended up killing her. We found out late Saturday night that our sweet girl actually had a rare blood disorder in which her blood did not clot, so with the little shot and blood her body just kept going. We buried her at my dads and have cried a lot since. One of the hardest parts about the whole situation is Kasyn doesn't understand so everytime we come home and Roxie is not waiting he asks where she went? We cant decide if we should try to replace her or keep her sweet memory as long and fresh as we can, right now i think we are going to wait awhile.

I can't believe i have a 7 year old daughter it's crazy to believe she was once my little baby and now she is almost old enough to get baptized. so we finally bit the bullet and got a dog, she is a really good dog and has made our house more complete with her extra love and playfulness about her. We named her Roxie and she is a brindle boxer (so hopefully she can protect us when jon is working)

This week was very hectic we had a lot going on my cousin got married on Friday which was also the day Kyleigh turned 7 can you believe it she is already that old she will be going into secound grade awww! For her day she choose to go to Wingers and then pick out her own gifts from the store and we also went to McKees to visit the animals we had a lot of fun.

We went to the big old Pocatello Zoo on one of Jons days off for family fun. However we didn't plan very well and went at noon so not only was it very hot most of the animals weren't out but we (for the most part) had a fun time. Next time i think we will just go more in the evening.

Jon was really happy to be at the zoo at the hottest hour of the day lol

Kasyn was amazed with all the animals it took forever just to pull him away from one animal to the next he loved it

On Jon's days off we finally had a little fun we went to lunch in the park the zoo and then came home and had a bbq and a water fight of course the water fight was a little off since we only had one hose so everyone else got wet but Jon. We had a great time.

CaMping WEekENd

So this past weekend we decided last minute to go camping we had a great time we went to american falls and camped. we went boating and played all weekend it was me and my kids and my dad and his cute little family we had a blast. I even pulled our camper up and back even though a few times i almost peed my pants from fear of hitting things but it was all good and we had an awesome weekend

We got to play on the beach and Kambree loved the sand (in her mouth YUCK)

So jon took a day off and we got to go out to american falls and do a little boating with the thomas families we had a good time getting out and enjoying the heat.

Kyleigh she has recently turned into fish she loves the water in her face hair nose it doesn't matter she keeps at it. This is obviously something she got from her dad

Kayden and his new hair cut this little man is always full of it sometimes its funny sometimes its not so funny but you can always count on him for a hug or laugh

Kambree is my easy going baby (as long as i am somewhere around) she hung out at the beach going from person to person eating whatever they would give her. She is such a character.

Jon took all the three older kids on the boat and i got some time to myself with just me and Kambree i acutally got to sneek away and play volleyball it was awesome to do a little something for myself.

Kasyn and his cousin cydnie they had a good time running yelling and playing it was nice to have someone entertain him he is so outgoing.

My kids they really didn't think it was a good time to be taking a picture but they are cute anyways.

So of course Jon had to work over the fourth so me and the kids packed up and drove to Rexburg to my uncles house for a day of swimming eating and fireworks. It turned out to be awesome (I will admit i was worried going with four kids) We had a really good time and wish we could repeat the day over friends family love and fun all wrapped up in one.

Fathers day Camping

Well for fathers day Jon of course wanted to go camping in his mothers day camper! So we went to Downetta for 3 days it rained the most of the time but a few minutes of a couple of the days the sun came out. We did everything from feeding horses, swimming, dutch oven cooking with friends to playing in the sand. We had a blast even though we weren't in the sun.

This weekend Kayden will be 5 I can't believe it. We decided since a bike is hard to wrap or hide that we would do his birthday early. So here is his new bike and new helmet (with him the helmet is a must have). He was the happiest little guy in the world.

Kambree if you look close you can even see she finally has enough hair for a pony tail, she is such a sweetheart.

Kasyn as usual also had a great time and screamed as we yanked him off the games. HE loves this place. RUN RUN RUN

Kyleigh had a great time she got the Jackpot and got 1000 tickets she was so excited. The tickets just kept coming.

Jon of course also had fun but then again he always does.

Of course Deal or No Deal was played by dad and his family (That machine always has someone playing) My dad has an interesting way of picking of who he deletes (he says its all about the looks).

We went camping to Heise it was a lot of fun and the kids loved it. The kids are out of school and we are loving sleeping in and staying up.

Crazy tonight Kyleigh comes out of her room (after i put her to bed of course) and tells me that her mouth is bleeding, not surprising since she is losing teeth left and right. Anyways so I told her to pull her tooth out which i didn't expect her to and sure enough she went in the bathroom and did it i cant believe it. only negative now is that my beautiful daughter looks like a vampire missing her front two teeth. i will post pictures tomorrow since she is now asleep waiting for the tooth fairy.

well this past weekend was a busy one with easter and kasyns birthday we had a lot to jam into a few hours (as it turned out) we had all of these celebrations on easter sunday with Jons family so it turned out to be a long day. but we had a lot of fun and got caught up with family and friends.

well spring came and now its gone again (not sure how that happened) but we enjoyed those couple days, and look forward to spring again without snow mixed in. with the warm weather we went to the park went on walks and hung out in the sun. it was a blast. well just to update everyone on what we all are up to. Kambree is trying to crawl even if i dont want her to. Kasyn is talking more and more everyday. Kyleigh is leaning cursive in school. and Kayden is being a boy. (Meaning i dont know what to do with him) Jon is doing well with school he got an A on his last english assingnment and is doing good in his history. i am also doing good with school even though it is very challenging to do while being a good mom at the same time. But all in all we are good, enjoying life to the fullest and making every moment count.

So Kambree's first tooth broke threw in the last couple of days. I am so sad she is my last baby and i can't believe she is growing so fast. It's so funny that now i know i can't have anymore babies i feel like my children grow like weeds. I love my babies more then anything in the world and wouldn't trade them for anything. But who would-no mother i know.

well it has been a very busy couple of weeks and days. Kambree got blessed (finally) and everything went pretty good (if you exclude Kam crying threw her blessing) how ever she look gorgeous so i guess looks can make up for somethings. Valentines was a hectic day but the kids loved there animals!

It has been an interesting few weeks. Jon is really doing well at school and loving working all night shifts. I am also taking classes but just online so i can stay home with the babies. sometimes i think this online stuff is harder but maybe that is because i have to do the things at home while studing instead of sitting in a classroom (like changing diapers and braking up fights) but everything seems to be going pretty good.

Kyleigh recieved a progress report about how she is doing in school and she got all the highest marks she can we are so proud of her she is really excelling with the montessori program.

Kayden is also doing good with the montessori program he is in his second year of the preschool and can now spell his name name colors and count to 10 most of the time or i quess we could say when he wants to.

Kasyn is now sleeping in the bottom bunkbed all by himself. it has been hard to check on him and see his tiny body in such a big bed. i really know it is just becuase i don't want my babies to grow up but it was a couple of tears to know that he is getting older.

Kambree has had her issues the last several days not quiet sure what is going on she is sleeping threw the night however she won't take naps during the day. however today i did get her to take two naps so we will see how she does hopefully we can get both positives (naps and all night)
